In 45 years of collecting, I have knives from all over. Just got my first Sheffield today and if I knew how good they are I would have a lot more. The Wostenholm IXL jigged bone canoe fits together like a Swiss watch, with an excellent finish. I’ll be on the lookout for more. Is Roger’s as well made ? Oscar

The Sheffield knives are some of the best cutlery ever.
George Wostenholm and Joseph Rodgers are well known and fine cutlers, but there are many others.
Their spring knives are an education in themselves. European cutlers help define American knife making.

Until now, the European knives I’ve collected are German, Spanish and Italian. I will definitely add more Sheffield knives. The quality is among the best I’ve seen.
