I missed a set of these books a few years ago but managed to get this set. Now to find enough time to read them.

What was "The Company of Cutlers" ? Was it a professional association where cutlers would meet, drink beer and socialize ? I have not seen a knife marked with this name so i think it was not a manufacturer of knives.
