GERMAN and SLAVIC (?) made Hawks.

Post by Ridgegrass »

Here are two nice hawks.
1. KUNDE & Cie., Remscheid. Near Solingen and Ohligs.
2' S.C.H (or B.C.H.) over BOPCMA inside a diamond. Guessing the "P" is the Cyrillic "R". So, "Borcma". Very well made, hollow ground blade, integral and etched bolsters, heavy backspring. oak scales may or may not be replacements (?) , but the knife isn't worn at all ???
Has anyone ever seen the mark?
J.O'.

I'll answer myself. Stamp translates to "Vorsma", a Russian cutlery center. The knife is pretty well made for a soviet product. J.O'.
