JOHN PETTY and Sons

Post by Ridgegrass »

Hand a very old John Petty & Sons, stag, bolsterless, folding hunter or "English" Jack. 6 inches closed length. Had a brass bale with filework. The pic shows the barrel on the blade stamp and the tang was stamped "Greenwich". Wondering if anyone has any other Petty knives. Like to see pics. I sold it a while back and I've always been sorry I did. Thanks. J.O'.

Here's a nice little John Petty & Sons sleeve board. 2 15/16".

It is in the "European and other foreign manufactured knives" subforum.

My contribution in the shape of a large, well used but well preserved Petty.
