IXL Budding Knife ??

Post by JonTerry »

Hi Dudes,

Can anybody tell me anything about this IXL Wostenholm Knife ? I believe it's a budding knife or something of that nature, but if anyone knows more that would be great, dates ? Value ? history etc .

Cheers in advance

Yes, it is a budding knife. Presumably named after botanist Luther Burbank. Steve (knifeaholic) has one on eBay now for $95 / Offer with no takers yet. You can read a little about it here: https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/k ... nk#p988961.

I own a mint condition Curtis, named for botanist Charles Curtis, and have been looking for a mint Burbank.
