Schrade Collection Down-Sizing

Post by Chase »

Hello fellow Knife Collectors!

I have decided to start down-sizing my massive Schrade Collection. I have way more than any person truly needs. I will not post what I have, as you can see that in posts that I have made, suffice to say there are not many knives I do not have from 1973-2004. Not everything is for sale and I will be asking fair market pricing, but willing to deal for multiple purchases.

Some knives have the tubes or boxes and paperwork, some Do Not. Almost all of the knives are like fresh from the factory condition.

I do have some very Rare knives that I may consider selling, but I have to give that some serious thought.

I also have many sets, I will not break up a set to sell one or two knives, sets are to be sold complete. Although I do have some incomplete sets as well.

If you are interested in anything I have, please feel free to contact me via PM or email me .... tomchase@qcol.net.

I do work fulltime so please be patient with me in getting back to you.

Tom, i sent you an email asking about 2 Schrade-Walden knives soon after you started this thread. This was sent from my 'bush' home which has a weak internet connection and sometimes 'sent' emails are not received or end up in the person's Spam folder.
If you did not receive it (sent July 8th) please let me know and i will re-send.

Tom as so many Schrade knives that posting pictures and description would likely take a few months of work.
If there is a Schrade knife or knives you are looking for, Tom is very likely to have examples. Just email him and ask.

Knfcollector, I do have quite a few switchblades, mostly the two blade press button types. Sterling silver, a good one, a bone single blade and several celluloid handles. Buddong knives and a couple letter openers.

KJ, i have not reveived any emails from you. Please try again. Or just PM me through AAPK.

Ken, That is funny, sell by the truckload...lol I do have alo though

Gentlemen, pictures are a good idea, however, as KJ stated, this would take a lot of time and I just do not have the skills for good photos. If you wre looking for something specific, shoot me a PM or email. I work full time but will get you a response fairly quick to include a picture and/or cost.

Thank you all

Tom was great to work with! I sent a request for certain Schrade patterns, and he had them! Multiples of them! Tom sent photos and the prices were very fair. Looking forward to receiving a package soon. I was sent a tracking number and even a photo of the package clearly showing the correct address!

All good,
Thanks Tom

Any USA Made “Old Timer” folders in there?

My father used to carry old timers and i would not mind having a few if the price and condition is right.

Beaver Tail,

I have tons of Old Timers! What specifically are you looking for?

I do not know the models very well at all. I just went online and took a look and what seems to look look familiar would be 1080T or 1080T junior. I remember the knives were typically small and often 3 blades. He would always have 2-3 of them because he had a bad habit of losing them :D

Is there a good reference somewhere that may show pics from from late 70's through the 80s?

No pictures here, but otherwise very comprehensive. Thanks to orvet for compiling it!

You can also go to http://www.collectors-of-schrade-r.us/ and look through the catalogs available for download.

Hope I've been of some help!

Beaver Tail,

Go to the link for Collectors-of-schrades-r-us

Go to the home page

Scroll down and select the Schrade Old Timers link

There are pictures of most of the old timers there. If there is something specific you see there that you may be interested in, let me know and I will send you pictures of them.
