I'm only be keeping a relative few of the knives that my dad made. I just feel that the bulk of the collection needs to be in the hands of collectors and others who will cherish them. The one sure part of his knives that I am keeping are the miniatures. While these are a little on the large size of "mini", they're "keepers".

Dad had a couple of small display cases for his knives. Those filled up quickly. :-) All of the knives in these cases have gone to new homes, except for the aluminum with inlay that I have kept.

I do have my "keepers" from Dad's collection. The aluminum knife with inlayed wood is one of them. It is among his very earliest knives. I remember when he brought it in to show Mom and me when he finished it. I said, "You can't ever sell this knife! It's mine!" And he never did sell it. :-)

These knives all found new homes. The one on the top right has stayed in the family.

I think that some of these knives have shown up in other photographs, but not all of them... thus, this post... :-)

Awesome fixed blade. ::groove::
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

You're going to look awfully silly with that knife sticking out of your @#$. -Clint Eastwood, High Plains Drifter
