Off Grid Tracker-2

Post by Rich53 »

I like it!

I was looking for a good fixed blade knife. I have a Schrade SCHF36 Frontier. It's OK, but it has a really thick (and unnecessary IMO) black oxide powder coating.

I've never owned an Off Grid, but I love the weight and the balance. Arrived razor sharp.

Anyone else own an Off Grid?

I've never owned one. Seems they're made in the USA? If so, they're well worth looking into.

No. Taiwan, unfortunately. The company is based in the US.

I'm interested to see how yours holds up after some use.

Me, too!

The blade is made of "Cryo" D2. I love D2 steel, but I don't know to what extent "cryo" is just marketing.
