TIA

Hi HH;
If it is authentic and if it is in the first of the dotted series which it appears
to be. The answer would be 1978, however to cover my A-- this is subject to being wrong. Should I be correct I would certainly like to see the format of a 1970 stamp. If anyone has a catalogue photo please post.

What ever year it was mad it looks like a real manly knife from my chair.
Looks like a deer hunter prim cut.
Thanks for showing it. I was thinking of just that same knife for my bro's Christmas Gift.
He got a 10 pointer with his bow this year

Hammer Head,
According to Bradley Wood and Sargents 6 edition: Check the sheath. An interesting change occurred in leather sheaths during the USA Era. The interior of the belt loop of the USA sheaths were initially finished with smooth leather (as were sheaths produced during the XX Era) and then transitioned into sheaths in which the interior of the belt loop was left unfinished. Hope this helps!
