Nice looking Bowie!
I recently ordered a Marbles Bowie from SMKW but I don't remember if it looks like that one.
Nice looking Bowie!
nice! Jimbo
The experience that oozes from this site must be rubbing off on me Garry, cuz I only had to glance at your bowie and I knew it was a Marble's build, even before I saw the tang stamp. Those hand guards are the most unusual I've seen, I like them a lot. Very cool knife buddy!
No Dan, it is fitted into that V notch. The knife is in the larger slot behind it. Actually I'm not sure what occupied that slot originally; I added the tgny one.
K.K. I reckon we got similar taste in collecting... I'd call it "E-Clectick"knife7knut wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 7:27 am A few I dug out tonight: a couple of choora daggers;an unmarked stag hunter;an ERN dagger w/tiny secondary dagger;& a Svoboda dagger.

Please DELETE these photos!!! You are making want to spend a LOT more $$$ Than I have!!!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 10:21 pm I got these two in today. I have been selling a few from my personal collection to pay for these. The Hattori is now the most expensive knife in my collection. Master Hattori is now 80 years old and only makes a few of each knife when he makes knives. This is one in honor of his 80 years. Chinese Quince burl wood handles. 97 layer V-gold San Mai Damascus blade with a single bevel edge. Malachite spacer and all nickel silver components.
The second one is a Moki bird and trout with amber carved bone stag handles. A Master Sakurai special edition. AUS-8 stainless blade.
It’s been over 24 hours I can’t edit this anymore. Sorry for the pain and agony. I felt that when I saw these, got obsessed with having them. Decided the only way was to sell off others from my collection to match the amount paid. I feel like I have too many knives and it makes sense to downsize and concentrate now on having higher quality and fewer knives, at least it does to me when I have hundreds of knives and have run out of space to display them all. Leaving knives in boxes and tubes is not enjoying them and I’m at that point. Maybe you should sell off some and buy some of these?GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 12:58 amPlease DELETE these photos!!!
