Thanks Marco and you are right. It is one of the best sheaths I have seen. Totally suitable for very rough use.

Appreciate the comment dog. The blade is highly polished but I couldn't capture that.

Thanks guys, I designed this knife 3yrs ago , my friends company in Nepal make the blades for me out of 5160 spring steel, I make the sheaths and do the handles in different materials but mainly micarta with G10 liners , my favourite is Antler , it's got a scandi grind that I fine tune to a x cross scandi/convex , I also do a 90% spine towards the top of the spine to spark a ferro rod, this one in the pic is one of my own ZMK1'S

Very rugged looking knife, and sheath Paul. I'm very much enjoying viewing your builds, and I must say, not without a touch of jealousy for your skills. Really nice knives!zed6309 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 3:19 pm Thanks guys, I designed this knife 3yrs ago , my friends company in Nepal make the blades for me out of 5160 spring steel, I make the sheaths and do the handles in different materials but mainly micarta with G10 liners , my favourite is Antler , it's got a scandi grind that I fine tune to a x cross scandi/convex , I also do a 90% spine towards the top of the spine to spark a ferro rod, this one in the pic is one of my own ZMK1'S

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
That's certainly an unusual little Karambit John! Looks like it'd do some serious slicing! I really like when someone isn't afraid to acquire something out of the ordinary, and you sure stepped up with that one! Very cool!

Theee of my four fixed blades are in this photo. The little guy is a Cold Steel Super Edge. Both of the others are Moraknivs: a green Eldris and a Garberg.

The boot knife on the right was a Blackie Collins design executed by Gerber. The left knife was designed by Bob Terzuola who has been called "the father of tactical knives." Made by Gryphon with VG-10 Steel.
