Re: Show off your fixed blades!
I like the knife, the coin, the pin and the pistol. Tell us more!
Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Great knife and group. I agree with Tongueriver. The coin, is that a Morgan or Liberty that has been carved? Great photo.

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Ditto the above. That dagger/boot knife looks like it may be a custom. If not, do you know the manufacturer?
Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Thank you guys
i bought the dagger from Marcin Tomaszewski (from Poland) https://customblades.eu/
the $ is a cheap copy from China (Ali)
the pistol is a blank .22 which is legal here in Germany (you have to be 18)
the pin i use as deco because it shows my star sign (zodiac sign).

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Hey guys,
Great blades!
I have only one fixie,
A special Hen & Rooster Diamond Edition Custom Bowie with matching Texas Diamondback rattler leather sheath. She's quite the hunk of metal...
A bit much for me, i'm a folding knife guy so this isn't really my cup of tea. Nothing to do with the knife, she's awesome! Just not my thing...
She's beautiful, top of the line stag and all. She's micro engraved by the maker with his name on both the sheath and blade.
His name is Auos Costecb Gomez (i'm pretty sure).
Anyway,
The stag is some of the best i've seen. First cut. Super thick and beautiful grain, if you can call it that... Also this one is even more special, the scales are different color/scaling. It's kind of special that they found to different blanks that are so perfect... That's why i bought her. Kind of a pallet of bone. They only ever made around 150 to 175, and they are not going ever to be making bowie's like these anymore. Learned from the seller,
who also happens to have inside knowledge at H&R...
I have been thinking for awhile that she needs a new home, someone who will treasure and love her with all the care she deserves.
Tell ya what. I would swap/trade you instead of cash outright. Either knives or guitar parts for my first guitar that i want to upgrade (Just started to play in April, lovin' it).
I don't know where you'll find another one. She's display case bound (like homeward bound, get it ). I look around on ebay to see how much they are going for, if you can find one at all...
Thanks a bunch!
Willy
(Pasted to knives for sale or trade) Hope she works...

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Picked this one up today at the flea market. No sheath but that shouldn't be a problem.Stamped Rosco Japan with jigged bone handles. Thought they were plastic at first but they are definitely bone.Trued up the edge a bit and a little polish and it's good to go. For $7.50 I can't complain.

Not familiar with the brand k7k, but if you find the steel to be good then you got yourself a great hunk of knife at a great price. Congratulations.

Not sure if it is the same company but I have a stiletto marked ROSCO Italy in the same manner. Here is a pic of the tang stamp.Quick Steel wrote:Not familiar with the brand k7k, but if you find the steel to be good then you got yourself a great hunk of knife at a great price. Congratulations.

K7K Can't go wrong for that money, that's a good looking knife.
Got this older Kabar off ebay. Finally got to a price I thought I could pay without buyer's remorse. The stag is even better than I thought, some scratching on the blade but not bad. It'll be a good natch for the jigged bone handled one.

Pretty handles Steve. Glad you got it and shared it.
Re: Show off your fixed blades!
I can now say my PAL Brands are a collection. I got this beauty to add to my wooden handled fixed and little white penknife. That makes three and you know what they say! For some reason PAL Brand yells at me. It’s not the Pal Blade or Cutlery, it’s connected to the old Utica Knife and Razor Co. The knives are actually mostly made in Germany, from about 1924-39. She looks pretty good for at least an eighty year old!
I’m too young to be this old!

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
I have 2 fixed blades.
A buck skinner and a buck 120 with the original sheath?
The 120 I swapped off my brother who swapped off a guy at a outdoor show a few months.
The knife was stolen from the guy a few times and badly beat up. Bro tried to fix the blade but It didn't work that well.
Buck fixing up the blade? Would that work?
Oh and how much would it be worth?
What age would it be?
I don't see any markings on the blade......

Re: Show off your fixed blades!
Buck 120 call Buck they have a pretty liberal repair policy. And will most likely be able to either do a "spa" treatment or blade replacement
Re: Show off your fixed blades!
I too highly recommend sending it to BUCK for the "SPA" treatment.. You may be surprised in a good way!!!

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Yes, I looked on their website. It's not too much. Less then $10.00 excluding shipping. So I might do that.

These pictures are a Case fixed blade pattern 5361 marked "Case's Tested XX" on one side of the tang and "W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. Bradford PA" on the other side of the tang.
