Are you going to make sheaths? I have carried knives in my pack with cardboard sheaths, after I got the blade too icky to put back in the nice sheath, until I got home to clean things up.

Yes sir, I plan to at some point. Need to find the “just right” leather. Probably will make a “slip” type sheath instead of a belt loop type. Both knives are small enough to carry in my pocket or in a edc bag.

The larger one is 7” and the smaller is 5-7/8”. I really like them both a lot!

here is a vintage Western bird & trout knife with a 3" blade and Alaskan scrimshaw handle designs,
- and an older Western West-Cut with cracked-ice handles

Had this posted in another thread, but it’s a 3 Finn that had a rotted handle and tape wrap that i rehandled.

Here's one you don't see often. A folder. G. Sakai, made in Seki Japan. The G stands for Gerber. Its a Gerber collaboration. Like a Moki in design and excecution. Flawless. Called their Bird and Trout model.

Like the little seki B&T.
I guess the bird & trouts are my favorites. Gonna pick up 4 new in box original Queens and a Queen City 1st of April. The guy has 2 of each, new in box!!
