Have you ever seen a "Marshall Wells co Germany"?

Hello I'm hoping someone can give me any information they can about my knife. I know that Marshall wells was a supplies goods company in the late 1800 to early 1900 and that they had knives with their brand name on them. Everything I'm finding on them though indicated that the company had several different names but all of them seem to have the USA designation. Any info about my German knife would be greatly appreciated,! Thank you

Fuller Form: Marshall-Wells Company (Duluth, Minn.)

Historical Note:
Marshall-Wells Company started in 1886 as Chapin-Wells Co. wholesale hardware and grocery firm. A.M. Marshall bought controlling interest in 1893 and changed its name to Marshall-Wells Co. The company grew to include 14 wholesale offices throughout the northwestern United States and in Canada. They retained their warehouses and executive office on the Duluth Waterfront. In 1955, Ambrook Industries, Inc. of New York bought controlling interest. The Coast-to-Coast Stores (based in Minneapolis, Minnesota) bought the Duluth Division of Marshall-Wells-Kelley-How-Thomson Co. in 1958, which ended the Duluth firm's operation.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I to have not seen a fixed blade from them. I spotted it at a local pawn shop for $12 and talked him down to $5. I would have gladly paid the 12 but it's a pawn shop and it's almost insulting if you don't haggle. I could tell there was age to it and I vaguely remember the name Marshall wells. If nothing else I'll clean it up and it should as useful as ever. Hopefully someone else on here might have some insight.

Wasn't Zenith a Marshall wells brand? Or was that Montgomery Ward?
