Received my very first Case Fixed Blade (1981) today from Steve. I do have a few questions though:
1. What do I use to clean the original sheath?
2. What do I use to keep the leather on both the sheath & knife soft it doesn't start cracking?

I have always used Fiebings Saddle soap for cleaning leather and Cavalier Mink oil for preserving. But there are a lot of other good products out there now too.XX Case XX wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 9:47 pm Received my very first Case Fixed Blade (1981) today from Steve. I’ve had great luck with Bick 4. What I like about it is it will not change the color of the leather. And it doesn’t leave any residue. That sheath looks thirsty a good coat of Bick will make it look new again.
