Rice’s Fish knife?

Post by Vintage.baitshop »

I need some help with this one. I have never heard of this maker and can not find anything on the internet on them. I’m at a loss.

I read TICE'S. Either way it is a generic fish knife and probably a retailer's name rather than a maker's name.

The blade design reminds me of the "G. Schrade's Hunting & Fishing Knife". The Schrade knife is a folder not a fixed blade. Also, if you look at your blade with an expanded view the name is Tice's, that might change your search results.

Has nothing to do with the Geo Schrade knives, the blade design has been used on fish knives for at least close to a hundred years and there are many, many fixed blade fish knives that are very similar.

::dang:: Stupid auto correct. I did type in Tice’s not Rice’s. No help other than some custom maker but his stuff is way fancier than this.
