Added another John Primble Belknap Hardware Blue Grass Barlow to the pile, this one is from a different maker, both are catalog number 5721, one is brass liners, one steel, while both are spears the grinds are different. The one with the center pin close to center is Ulster made for sure, not positive on the other, maybe Camillus.

That sure is a dandy, Roger! It looks Camillus made. How do you interpret the use of the word "original"? Would that be a reference to the pattern?

I love these hardware knives. I thought I might add this old ad and I'll post a specimen or two hardware knives and manufacturer. Notice the statement " we are the sole agents of both." I found that very intriguing.

A Maher and Grosh 99% sure made by Ulster considering Ulster catalog cuts and Maher and Grosh catalog cuts featuring the same pattern farmers jack with a nontypical sheepsfoot as the pruner. Also comparing the standard Maher and Grosh FJ and an Ulster FJ.

Not my knife but a Maher and Grosh pattern shown in the center of the following Ulster catalog cut.

A Cutsure mark only with U on the reverse of pruner. Pretty sure Utica made

A "rooster comb" Cutsure K&B Hardware FJ that I'm 99% sure is Camillus made .
