Union Stock Yards knives
Took a lot of miles and about 50 years to find these. Almost all are JACK KNIFE BEN UNION STOCK YARDS CHICAGO and a few JACK KNIFE SHOP. No fakes.
Re: Union Stock Yards knives
What an awesome collection. I admire your focus and dedication.

Thanks for adding the business card , didn’t realize that he sold so many different things .
Will have to do some research on this . Do you have a good reference for the history of Jack knife Ben ?
Really like the 3 junior knives .
Your dedication shows here . Maybe someday will find one ,till then will admire yours if that is okay?

Punch in Jack Knife Ben in the top bar and there are stories about the old boy. Started out before 1900 selling knives on a nail keg.

Benjamin William Chon (1863-1952)
“Benjamin Chon, the little man in the gray business suit and the blue yachting cap, and with the carnival pitchman's mesmerizing voice, was for more than half a century almost as much of a Chicago institution as the Stock Yards themselves. "Quality, sir?" he often said. "Just read that, if you please; it says 'Jack Knife Ben' on the blade, doesn't it? That never goes on a knife unless I stand behind it."’ -- from wikitree.
What’s additionally interesting is that his son, William Shawn (1907-1992) was a journalist and an editor of THE NEW YORKER, and his son is Wallace Shawn (b. 1943), the movie actor and playwright who was the main character in the outré 1981 movie, MY DINNER WITH ANDRE.
