Maybe only half a gnarl but still nice Sambar Schrade knives.
I don't always respond to great posts but I always appreciate seeing them. Thanks for posting!

Lastly, my only fully customized Herman Williams knife. Guess which brand it is? I'm pretty predictable when it comes to that.

The knife is vintage but I'm not so sure about the handles. But non the less the handles are gnarly.

Very fine looking slabs on that one. The Heritage shield is a nice touch.bladecollectorr wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:31 am Lastly, my only fully customized Herman Williams knife. Guess which brand it is? I'm pretty predictable when it comes to that.
Not at all a fan of the blade 'swirl' treatment however.
You should take a shot of the spine to show the file work ...

Re: Vintage Gnarly Stag Handles
Thanks! I like the "jeweled" blade treatment on this particular knife because it puts the "fully" in "fully customized". They look totally different in person. Jeweled blades shine like a mirror from every viewing angle like they are covered in gemstones not scratches.royal0014 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 10:59 amVery fine looking slabs on that one. Re: Vintage Gnarly Stag Handles
Mike, Lee, thanks guys
I love how the English fit the stag bolster to bolster, no grinding it down to fit at the bolster
