Nice!!
Re: Knife & Cutlery Ephemera
Something else I picked up at the Lexington show.
21 1/2 X 16
Paper over wood.
The other side says "Hand Tools" instead of "Pocket Knives".

Dang another nice one!!!
Re: Knife & Cutlery Ephemera
That is a great period piece, looks like he snuck out of church or school, to do a little whittlin' with a new KK.

Re: Knife & Cutlery Ephemera
Skip those are great Walden Knife Co postcards!! Those white buildings were added in 1914 and were known among the locals as the "white elephants". A couple of decades after the knife company closed down the buildings were purchased by a local grocer and his partners and converted to a grocery store. i believe this was around 1954. Over the years the original 1800's brick buildings were torn down but the white elephants remained. They were ensconced and morphed into one giant building and the complex became known as the The Thruway Market and Shopping Center. Here's an aerial shot of the complex, not sure what year it's from, possibly 1970's or 80's. It shows the white elephants and additional buildings. The only remains of the original Walden Knife Co 1800's brick structures are down on the bottom of the photo at the end of the warehouse. You can just see the roof of that last building with its two dormers peaking over the tops the the far right buildings in your last post card. They still remain standing today. You can also see at the top to the left of the dam the old lock is still present. The factory ran on both water and steam power and during operations this lock was opened to divert water down a sluice into the factory to power the wheel. That dam and sluice date all the way back to the mid 1800's when a woolen mill occupied the original buildings. Everything was torn down with the exception of those old brick buildings about five years ago to make room for a new modern shopping center. I'm glad at least some little remnant still remains.

Re: Knife & Cutlery Ephemera
Very recently, my visit to the post office produced these two books.
New to me and welcome additions to my expanding cutlery library.
Both books show some minor wear, but are in VERY GOOD condition.

This morning, my trip to the post office produced this book. It is titled, "New Jersey Cutlery - A Guide to New Jersey Knives and Cutleries" by Philip R. Pankiewicz. It's a softcover book, has 192 pages and was copyrighted in 2010. It is in NEAR MINT condition. It is a most welcome addition to my meager, but growing, knife and cutlery library.

This morning, my trip to the post office produced this booklet. It is titled, "The Early Life of Millard Fillmore Robeson and founding of The Robeson Cutlery Company" by Tom Kalcevic. It is a softcover booklet, has 23 pages and is from April, 2023. It is in MINT condition and it was FREE. It is a most welcome addition to my meager, but growing, knife and cutlery library.

Re: Knife & Cutlery Ephemera
Very recently, my visit to the post office produced these COLONIAL items. They are from 1977. There are two store display cards. Each display card holds six "American Sportsman" pocket knives, for a total of twelve pocket knives. The display cards are connected, but they can be separated. The twelve pocket knives have one blade and are the "toothpick" pattern or style. Each display card measures 8" x 12" Each pocket knife measures 4 3/8" closed. NONE of the pocket knives have been removed from the display card and ALL are in MINT condition. The display cards have NOT been opened or tampered with. They are BOTH in NEAR MINT to MINT condition. All I did was take some pictures and here they are.
