The All Scout Knives Thread
Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
I thought this would be the best group to ask about this. I'm looking for a BOY SCOUT SWISS ARMY VICTORINOX HUNTSMAN WOODBADGE KNIFE. I had one once but gave it to a friend of mine that completed the his Woodbadge. I'm back to collecting scout knives that have a real meaning to me from my many years as a scout leader. I'll start posting pictures of the knives I've collected recently in the very near future.
If anybody knows where I can purchase one of these knives, please let me know. Here's the only on-line link I could find with front and back pictures of the knife. The knife handle imprint with the axe in the log (woodbadge symbol) is very important.
I hope that I inserted the link the right way.

Thanks for your help!!!

Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
If you haven't done so already, you might want to post this over in the Victorinox forum and in the "want to buy or sale" forum....Sswingle wrote: ↑Sat Jul 03, 2021 5:25 pm I thought this would be the best group to ask about this. Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
im still here Steve but I’ve sold all of my duplicate Scouts and knives that don’t fit into my collections. The last 9 BSA knives I have are on eBay under the seller “lureauthority”.
I have some Jamboree knives, a Philmont knife and some modern BSA folders, a nice selection to close out my sales.
I agree that this hobby can get expensive, especially when searching for 100 year old official Scout knives but as they say, you can’t take it with you do you might as well enjoy it!

Picked this up. It's the first medium sized box I've ever owned or seen. Didn't even know it was smaller than the R3333 box till I got it.

Re: The All Scout Knives Thread
I well remember getting my first Cub Scout Knife. It was 1954 and nothing was made in China. I'm not sure if it was an Imperial or Camillus, but it was American made. My grandson is now a Cub and I have two, very nice, old Ulster and Imperial Scout knives for him and his little brother when he joins. My son sent me this ad for the Chinese version for $19.95. Probably not a "bad" item but something in me wants an American Cub Scout to have an American made knife.

Picked up this early New York Knife Co Scout knife off the bay, Beautiful bone with great snap and some etch still visible, now if I can just find one with the large permanent bail.

Congratulations Mike, you know how I love that pattern. You’ve got a great one there - a rare example of a rare knife!
