Phil, When you say you have several hundred scout knives, would these all have the Scout markings or does your collection include non-scout utility/camping knives?

I'm not knowledgeable about Scout Knives, but your mop knife has to be a great catch and, I expect, rare. What company made this version?

They’re definitely not common. Too expensive (and fragile) for most youth but sometimes the adult Scouters carry them. Or just buy them as commemoratives/collectibles. When I was an Assistant Scoutmaster the boys in our troop took up a collection and bought a MOP scout knife for the Scoutmaster. He was thrilled to get it but I don’t think he ever carried it. I can’t recall what brand it was - maybe Camillus. ::shrug::

Today I'm adding these two knives to my collection. A Girl Scout and a Boy Scout, Imperial, single blade, utensil kit, pocket knife. Neither needed any cleaning. I snapped some pictures and here they are.

Today I'm adding these two knives to my collection. Two Girl Scout, single blade, utensil kit, pocket knives. One is an Imperial and the other is a Boker. The Imperial came by itself and the Boker came with the fork, the spoon, the vinyl carrying case and the original box. Neither needed any cleaning. I snapped some pictures and here they are.

Shift the decimal point one space to the left, and I might be interested.

100% agree, and I’d want to see any doc from the fire sake, the prototype tag is cool but not mega-premium cool. Plus any Adventurer could have been attached to that tag, too sketchy

Didn't know where the best place would be to show you all my newest "Scout" addition. Guess this "All Scout Knives" thread is as good as any. Of course I know this knife has little in common with a true "BSA" but it does say "Scout" on the shield so here it is. :D

It is stamped: A.W. Wadsworth & Son Germany. The seller of this tiny little knife ( 1 1/2 inches closed ) said it was hand made by his grandfather who worked at several cutlery makers throughout his life in Solingen Germany. Dispite it's size, it's a fine little knife. It has Stag handles, No wobble, Strong Snap & yes, it's pretty sharp also. Even managed to cut myself while cleaning it up a bit. ::doh::

Here are a few pictures of it. The last one with a Case Peanut and my newest Zippo, is to give you an idea of how small it is, & as always, Thanks for looking! ::handshake:: ::nod::

Cool little knife Tom. ::tu:: ::tu:: And a great story to go with it! You should document the story and keep it with the knife so it doesn’t get lost. ::nod::
