A 4" Valley Forge, built like a tank, has an arched tang stamp and the VF in a circle on both the main and the pen. interestingly enough it has 5 pins on the pile side and 6 if you include the 2 shield pins on the mark side. Remnants of the Valley Forge etch.
A really nice big 'n beefy knife, John. I really like Valley Forge with the Newark stamp, a great addition for you. ::tu:: ::tu::

Beautiful knife !
I'm partial to old bone jacks that have the secondary in front of the main like this.
Nice little bonus to a HOK

Bill, I would put that Electric somewhere between 1891 and 1910. I believe those were the dates that Electric resided in Newark, NJ. A very nice group of knives .Congratulations!

Thanks doglegg,Greg, and Lloyd. Not great photos. The etching is very readable with knife in hand. I should have taken a photo of the etching. I really wanted the Honk because I didn’t have one,but after I got them the Electric is my favorite!! Thanks again.
