Found another one hiding among some Catts. 3-1/4", "MOTS", extra long thumbnail nick on the pen blade. Nice and tight. J.O'.

I just picked up this Challenge tool kit. What I really like is how they used a "Challenge Cutl. Co. Bridgeport Conn." tang stamp on the accompanying tools. I think the case is made out of pig skin, much like those old pocket knife purses.

That is a great looking tool kit with a very intact pouch from one of the country's best cutlers, in my opinion.

This pocket knife arrived very recently in a large group of pocket knives that I bought. I did NOT buy the group to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, I was quite pleased that it was in the group. It is a CHALLENGE, two blades, two tang stamps, 3" closed, pocket knife. Both blades have tang stamps. They both read "CHALLENGE - CUT. CO. - BRIDGEPORT - CONN." It is in EXCELLENT condition and it did NOT require any cleaning at all. I took some pictures and here it is.

Good looking knife New Windsor. What are the scales? They almost look like some good wood grain. Beauty.

I don't know what material the handles or scales are.
But, I do know that they are not made of any kind of wood.
I think that they may be celluloid, but I'm not sure. ::shrug::
