BTW - I checked the hallmark on the blade - I only did so because I just was doing it for another sterling knife of mine out of Sheffield - anyway yours looks like 1906 but note the last box with the dating mark has only 3 corners angled when I checked 1906 - yours looks like all corners are cut/angled with the "O" in the middle BUT I can't find another that looks like yours - however you may be right as I always have a tough time decoding these old knives :lol: :lol: ...

Here's something out of the ordinary.

These are salesman samples of fruit knife handles, two handles front and back in case the back was smooth or had a design on it.
