Nice Toes ::tu:: That Marshall Wells line must have been something. I wish we could all walk into our local hardware store and buy some SFO knives like back in the day.

Wow Bob, that Barnsely Bros is truly fantastic! I love that it has been in your family for a long time.
MB and Greedy, on the same lines of what Wazu said, its great to see the Ebony, Pearl and bone all together.
And Mike, what a fantastic Catt! 4 Nagle Re-Blades, amazing.
Cato, I love how deep the jigging on that Marshall Wells is. I think the wide berth for the handle material on Toenail pattern knives is one of the reasons why I like them so much, you can really SEE the handle material.
These are all fantastic knives, some time I will find that Toenail I'm looking for, but for now I will just have to drool over all of yours ::drool::

I just saw this one on ebay. Its not my knife. But it is different. I've never seen one like it. Clear celluloid handles with A picture of Lincoln on one side. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Henry-Sears-Son ... 4177c6464d

I saw that knife at the Central Kentucky Show.I haven't seen another toe like it.I told the guy who had it that it may have commemorated the 50th anniversary of Lincoln death. The same guy had the Pine Knot toe that caused much discussion on this forum ::nod::

Very nice Dimitri.

Don't you just love that bone?

One backspring or two?

Not very many manufacturers made a swell-center toe and as far as I know, only Robeson made them with two springs.

Thanks Charlie.

You really can`t beat the old Robeson jigged bone, the worm grooves make it all the better.

This knife has two springs ::nod::

MB, is that one from Scott Kings auction? I know he had two that were the swell center design with double back springs. I bid on the darker one but it went for more than I could do.

That is truly a nice sunfish and a special one at that, congrats ::tu:: BH
