It looks like the tang stamp "might" read:

PAL CUTLERY CO
MADE
IN U.S.A.

Or it "might" read:

PAL BLADE CO
MADE
IN U.S.A.

Appreciate the help with the last one.

I am new to this and recently purchased a cookie tin full of old knives from an older gentleman that had them for a while.

Most of them i have been able to identify from information that i have found on this site and others.

There is another that i have not been able to identify yet.

The tang stamp is mostly worn away however what is left of it is ....N CUT Co.

it is similar in style to some older Swiss army that i have seen.

Any ideas or suggestions where to look will be appreciated.

It looks like the letter W just before the N.
It looks like the letter W below and between the N and the C.
I'm going to suggest that it "might" be
CROWN CUTLERY CO.
GOINS says New York, Austria, Germany or Prussia. ::shrug::

Don't know how old it is. Obscure? I've never seen another one but I'm sure 25 of them are going to show up here in an hour or so. :D
Tang stamped: Sanders Mfg. Co. Nashville. They are/were and advertising firm. The knife looks like a Colonial. The impressed ad reads, "TENNESSEE ELECTRIC MOTOR SERVICE, NASHVILLE-KNOXVILLE. They also were stamped: SAMCO . It's pretty snappy. J.O'.

Here's a hard one to find, a Kipsi Kut from Poughkeepsie, NY. Some wear to main blade, great snap, I'd been looking for one for many years.
