That is a couple of nice knives Joe, wonder how old they are? I don't have many knives yet, but I do have a few metal handles I will have to post here. Thanks for sharing.

Nice knives Joe ::tu:: ::tu:: ... That melon tester with metal handles must have been a top of the line pattern is my guess - I haven't seen many of that pattern with fancy nice handles like your Klaas (sweet 8) ) though I would guess others may exist - just haven't seen any :) ...

Thank you, Bill.
I would be hard pressed to guess an age.

Thank you, Lee.
I have never seen a melon tester like this one. This one may have come over on a boat. :)
It's kind of weighty. So nice to see you posting, Pal. ::tu::

Thanks Joe, it looks to be unsharpened and just laid down in a drawer for most of it's life when I found it.

They are unusual, which is pretty much what I collect these days

Here are three I have, a Case stainless steel framed stockman with high carbon blades. A Schrade Walden pipe knife for Abercrombie & Fitch and a Wenger Tahara Swiss Army Knife for Neiman Marcus.

Keeping with the electrician's knife theme, here is a John Watts/Sheffield/England. I don't think that I've posted this one here before.

I don't know why, but I'm drawn to the stainless handled utility knives. They were cheap, with lots if variants, and fun to collect. The new in box Buck 111, is a throw back to another world. I look at it and "Rhinestone cowboy" starts playing in my head.

Thanks a lot, I like that Remington you posted too. ::tu:: The all metal electrician's don't seem to be all that common.

I agree, I think they are fairly uncommon. I have two of them. Dimitri has one and is the only other person I know that has one.

Here's another all metal electrician's knife. Wadsworth/Germany/D.R.G.M. Scout Tool, very cheap with the tab-lock bolsters. But it is a little different.

Is it just me, or does being an electrician with an all conductive metal "electrician's knife" sound like a bad idea?

Shocking, to say the least... ::lightening::
