Hilger and Sons Celebrated. 1842-1864, according to Levine's. Sorry for the crappy pics.

Wow Mike, that is a beauty! I love that carved pearl with the tip bolsters and cigar band. Fancy nail file to boot.

Thanks Dan, Bill and John. I got that knife from a Voyles auction years ago that was chock full of pearl knives after a collector had passed away. It was low hanging fruit compared to the rest.

Not completely sure if this belongs here, so if not, my apologies and maybe our moderators could move to correct place...
Case & Son (arched) over Little Valley over NY stamping, 2 blade swell center knife. Very pocket worn and loved...
Not familiar with this pictular stamp was hoping that others here would have an example of their own to show.
There is several examples I've found of the Case & Sons stamping, but wanted to find out a little more on this ol knife....Guessing pre "Sons" dating which is 1904??
Appreciate your insight,
Cheers, Randy

Very nice knife, Randy. Sargents 7th does not list it. However, he does say that the W.R. Case & Son was only used 1902 - 1903.

Mike that old pearl is a stunner, a wonderful example and tribute to the cutler’s skills of the time.
Randy, nice find! Fairly rare stamp, just don’t see many of those since the stamp was used for such a short time. You should post it in the Case Collectors forum also, for posterity sake. This would be a good place viewtopic.php?f=66&t=43896&start=540

Pacific Hardware and Steel with Stiletto etch faintly still visible. Still snaps both open and closing with half stops. Very well made I believe by Napanoch? Nice old dogleg jack 1901-1918. Thanks for looking.
