Re: Empire Knife Company
Nice knife Roger ... Is it an illusion or does the pivot bolster flare out towards the end? Very cool ...

Man that is a sweet ole hunter Roger . When you first look at it, it creates a illusion of being pinched. But when you take a minute to look, you do see that it is straight. Super cool .

Re: Empire Knife Company
Roger,
Very nice old knife. You might remember the Empire I had with the Empire Hunting Knife etch, but it had a saber ground blade and a lockback. Not quite as good a knife as yours either.

Re: Empire Knife Company
Great addition Ike. Full blades , great looking old knife.
Re: Empire Knife Company
Ike, wonderful EO Empire Jack I agree with LongBlade. A knife with character and earned patina is better than any old new knife imho!

Way to go, Ike.
That is a real beauty.
That shield looks like it grew there.

Re: Empire Knife Company
Thanks for all the comments, guys, I appreciate it. It is always nice to read comments on classic old knives, whether directed at mine, or, someone else's post. It is just good to hear from like minded individuals who appreciate, not only the looks, but the history.
Btw, that is one awesome new avatar, "Lord" Duffer. Not that there was anything wrong with your mug being pictured on the old one, but that is some sweet looking ebony.
