Re: Old Cattle Knives
I haven't posted much lately you will have to forgive me for being lazy in my old age. Picked this up a while back. It is a junior cattle knife. Tang stamp is Montgomery Ward & Co. Chicago. Main blade has etch and the L is almost missing, but it says Lakeside. I hope it is visible in pics. Not mint but still nice for this lucky dog. Thanks for looking.

Re: Old Cattle Knives
That’s a fine one! Can you tell us about the etch on the blade? LAKESIDE, maybe?

Re: Old Cattle Knives
Chicago is lakeside on Lake Michigan.
I think Montgomery Ward also sold knives with a multi-line "Lakeside" tang stamp.
