I don't think I ever posted this BLISH MIZE & SILLIMAN HDWE CO. utility knife that I believe Utica made for Western. 4 3/4" 4 blade in what they may have called Gold Shell Pyralin (celluloid but seems to be pretty stable like old Case Goldstone). Goins says they came into existence in 1871 and may still be in operation. Case 6445R for size comparison.

Here is a 4" Miller Sloss & Scott (1891-1901)stockman with their stiletto trademark on the tang. They were absorbed into Pacific Hdwe & Steel in 1901, who continued to use the stiletto mark.

John, living fairly close to/attending shows in St Louis area, I see a Witte pop up on rare occasions. I have never seen anywhere near that nice, beautiful knife, top notch!
