John, living fairly close to/attending shows in St Louis area, I see a Witte pop up on rare occasions. I have never seen anywhere near that nice, beautiful knife, top notch!

Had it for years. Levine and Price say the were wholesalers and possibly importers. No country stamp. Assume US. Only one I've seen. I have old Imperials with the same celluloid.

This pocket knife arrived today. It is one out of a group of five pocket knives that I bought, but not for this particular one. It is a SHAPLEIGH (D-E) HDW CO. B478, 2 blade, 3 tang stamps, 3 1/8" closed, advertising pocket knife. It says "CARDWELL WESTINGHOUSE" on one side and "FRICTION DRAFT GEAR" on the other side. If you Google the advertised company, there is a lot of information. I gave it a very mild cleaning, took some pictures and here it is.

That is a fine looking knife, Ike, which I had not heard of before. And, yes, the bone is very fine indeed.
