Beautiful knife in superb condition!LongBlade wrote:Here's an American Shear & Knife Co - 3 5/16" - a nice Boys Knife... The master blade has a crocus mark side finish and the pile side still has remnants of a glaze finish which I had read was not unusual for blade finishing..

That is super nice Joe. Knife is right in between the old world Sheffield style with new world practical style. Great piece.

Ebony Maher & Grosh, 3 5/8 inches closed. Not close to the quality Roger has been showing us, but unique, due to the lack of long pull on the master. Just a nice solid old knife.

Dimitri, I appreciate the comment. You and the other gentlemen have posted some amazing knives as of late and it is motivating me to get to the safe and see if I have anything worthy to add.
I did have this Shapleigh Hardware Co Diamond Edge handy and it fits the criteria. Unusual master in something other than a barlow pattern.

Thefarside, you are showing some fine knives too. A pleasure to see.
