I posted this S&M on another thread long ago. It is the most vintage whittler I have. I believe it is just shy of 40 years.

Nice knives everyone! Hopefully more pictures will follow.

RDKnives: Thanks, I'm glad you liked them.

MRB: Thank you. Boker also made that same style knife in pearl, though I don't have one. What brand is the one you have in pearl? ::hmm::
A pocket knife is still an intimate personal possession of the individual who carries it and consequently deserves the best of materials, finish and workmanship in its production. (Quoted from Boker's 1928 cutlery catalog).

OK. For posterity and in the spirit of Dimitri's Vintage Whittler thread, here are some whiitlers
made by or for The Robeson Cutlery Company between 1891 and 1965.

It`s obvious Robeson Cutlery Co. liked Whittler knives, quite a selection Charlie ::tu::

They also proudly display a whittler on their knife box label as I posted earlier.

Thanks, everyone. I didn't mean to overload the thread, but MB asked for vintage whittlers.

That beautiful stag whittler of Slim's is marked "Peter Hendrichs".

Interestingly, I used to work with an elderly anesthesiologist named Peter Hendrichs. I decided I was going to find him a knife with his name on it and searched Ebay every day for over a year and nothing ever appeared.

However, I think if I'd found a stag whittler like that one, Dr. Pete would never have gotten it. ::facepalm::

Dimitri, what marque is that swell-center, balloon-ended ebony handled knife?

And that etched Empire always amazes me.

K7K posted a surprising array of knives, as usual. ::tu::

"SlimPickins", your collection does not live up to your name. Premium knives, all. I especially like that stag Hendrichs. Is it as long as it appears?

It is not a whittler :( It is a 4-blade pen knife, but the handles are grooved Pearl :D
