Here are a couple of old horn handled whittlers. The first one is a Sta-Sharp that is marked Sta-Sharp/S.R.& Co. It's the only Sta-Sharp that I've seen that doesn't really look like a Camillus made knife. The second one is an Ulster whittler, quite similar but a 3 5/8" pattern.

That Ulster whittler is real nice looking msteele, fine condition. The horn has a great pattern.

Great looking knives guys!
I went back to my roots and whittlers were my favorite knives. I just picked up two , one from Ray at Sweetwater and one from Mike at Collectors knives
I will post pics of both when they get here. ;)

Thanks Miller bros I picked it up at a yard sale for 12 dollars and I had to put it in my collection cause I had never seen one with that kind of handles I thought that they only used bone in the tested era

Great knives all the way guys,I've enjoyed this thread.

Lenox Cutlery
Germany

The handles on this one are extraordinary to me.I think natural bone, looks handmade.

A W Wadsworth
Well used . I thought at first covers were ivory, but probably bone.

Both split spring, with tapered shim? Only vintage I think I have.

Thanks for the kind words MB and Danno. Danno, I love that swell center pattern myself, however, a confession, it's not marked Keen Kutter but rather Simmons Hardware.
