Interesting knife Steve! Thanks for posting it here.

The price does not surprise me at all, first because of the early baseball association, right now baseball collectables are still bringing big money.

The second thing about the knife that is unusual that most people do not know this, certainly the seller did not see this as it was not in the description, is it has a Stanhope lens on the front pin.

If the image inside is still viewable it makes that knife very valuable!

Very very cool knife. Americana and cutlery coming together I see why it went that high.
