Re: IF It Were Only In Better Condition.....My Rarest Junk K
This old Case Tested large Birdseye is my contribution to this thread. It has been well used but it is tight. As you can see the old yellow plastic scales are cracked and loose as is the case on most of these old Birdseye patterns. Have often thought about getting the scales replaced but the knife belonged to my uncle and I've kept it exactly as it was when he gave it to me over 30 years ago, cracked scales and all. Still might replace them some day and carry it though. Great size, great old pattern.

Ken it looks like that old 92 is still kicking. The sheepsfoot and spey blade still have a nice profile. Tough call on a re-handle for a family knife like that.

My contribution to the thread. A gallant old W R Case & Sons Hawkbill. 1905-15. Still a tight old knife that shows decades of heavy use. If this one could talk it could tell a lot of stories.

Great old knife Tom. IMHO, worth having for the bone scales alone if nothing else.

Tom that one has tons of character. I'd give it a home in a heartbeat.

Krusius Brothers -KB EXTRA stamped sunfish. This is the only KB stamped one I have come across. Most German made sunfish look like they all came out of the same factory.

This old sunfish is stamped Geo.S Saunders & Co.don't know much about them.Knife would appear to be made by Napanoch. I wish it was in better shape but it is what it is.

Re: IF It Were Only In Better Condition.....My Rarest Junk K
Here's a couple from my pile. I could probably uncover a few more.
An old Hatch from Bridgeport, Ct.
An old Ed. Wusthof from Solingen, Germany. This camper is built like a tank. It's too bad about the skins; they must have started to go south a long time ago.
Nice old "if onlys" guys.

Dimitri I'd love to find one of those Labelles. Looks like someone used it just once for a torture test.

Shame about the blade on that Labelle, Dimitri. But at least that cool bolster looks good.

Re: IF It Were Only In Better Condition.....My Rarest Junk Knife
Another, I hope I don't find many more to go in here.
Re: IF It Were Only In Better Condition.....My Rarest Junk Knife
Keith those are some of the nicest JUNK knives I've seen in a long, long time. Nice to see this thread revived. Maybe we can get some new, old contributions.
