Thanks , gentlemen...appreciate the feedback. My only regret is not buying more of these S&Ms when they were cheap(er) & more plentiful (and also selling the ones I had in order to finance other collecting interests...but hindsight is always 20/20--and given the past year: 2020, it can hardly get too much worse...knock on wood (it's only 5:25 pm where I live so I don't want to jinx myself...or anybody else for that matter ::paranoid:: )

HAPPY NEW WHARNCLIFFE YEAR...with PEACE ON EARTH, LOVE, COMPASSION and WHARNCLIFFE KNIVES TO ALL MANKIND! (Not necessarily in that order!)

First Cold Steel knife I've ever owned. It's a sturdy little knife. Was planning on giving it to a friend, but now I'm having second thoughts...would make a great little EDC. Hmmm...what to do? ::hmm::

Mahalo, Ryan...I do consider you a friend. ::nod::

However, now that you've shown that beautiful Blue handled Tuff Lite, I think you might be right; I may have to get the Blue TL for myself and give the "Flat Earth Brown" model to my other friend (as originally intended). So, now I have to wonder: are you really a friend or just an "enabler"? ::hmm::

I modified both of these to all wharncliffe blades. The Case had a broken tip and the KK blades needed reprofiled, also. I figured they were good candidates to become wharnies 😁..not bad for an amateur...I didn't pay much for either.. adding them to my EDCs..(as if I don't have enough already 🙄)...I still have to polish/buff the bolsters...

Thanks, Floyd 🤝.. .I'm going to refine them a little more... I've been getting into sharpening and messing around with old, damaged HOKs .. gives me something to do at 3am when I'm up by myself before work, well Layla likes to watch, I guess 😁

Thanks KGIG!😁🤝.. I'm going to work on the tips a little more and buff the bolsters...I've been watching a guy on youtube lately (his chanel is "Outdoors55", I highly recommend watching his videos) who is an amateur knife maker.. he's pretty slick.. all of his videos are very entertaining, informative and family friendly. So now I have this idea in my head that I want to start making my own fixed blades ::facepalm:: .. I gotta build a garage first before I jump into that or Kim will kill me if I start doing that in my house somewhere 😁. .. just be what I needed, another expensive hobby ::facepalm:: ..
