Got this GEC Calf Pen that I purchased when there for a factory tour in October last.

The wharncliffe blade on this Sharp Fans 2009 club knife by Queen is somewhat unique...or perhaps "extreme" is a more appropriate description. The profile seems to be all "wharn" and no "cliffe"--a real pig-sticker, for sure. Handle is Amber Carved Stag Bone and measures 4" closed.

Wow is all I can say, love the blade shape. Do you know if they made a single blade model.

Here is my one and only Wharncliffe. A Cattaraugus that I just finished rehabbing. It had bone scales put on at some point. I put the MOP back to the way it was originally.

Nice knives WVbladetrade (great score on that one) and Twhite ::tu:: ....

Here's a Wharncliffe but only in the sense of the handle frame - LF&C had this spear master Wharncliffe listed in an original catalog along with their other Wharncliffe knife selections... 3" closed and MOP (most LF&C pocket knives were black compo and on occasion you find MOP or wood except for their kitchen knives and fixed blade hunters that had bone and stag)... nickel silver liners.. still has "Universal" etch and blades look very full.. Given the MOP and nickel silver liners I am guessing on the higher end of LF&C knife prices back in the day...

This is a modern custom...but I can't help it, I'm a sucker for single blade wharnies. This 3.5" (closed length) amber barbed wire bone lock back with file work was made by T bar K (Michael "Tank" Fisher). Blade is D2 steel.

Here's a couple of vintage samples I just received yesterday... both of the MoP shadow pattern variety...
11318

The Ulster at 2⅞”... has certainly seen some use...
11315 11314

... however the smaller Walden whittler at 2½”... looks like new with what I believe is the original factory edge...

Awesome Ken 8) ::tu:: ::tu:: ...

Here's a Miller Bros Wharncliffe posted under Miller Bros thread but belongs here - 2 & 1/8" - MOP and still snappy and tight - I think the smallest wharncliffe I own :D ... Tang stamp is the same on both blades - Miller/Bros/Meriden and not seeing CT but it is amazing to me how small that stamp is on the pen blade...
