Now this is a punch blade. On a Paxton and Gallagher. 3 5/8. Odd that the main blade is on the wrong end? The punch locks open and depress the spey to unlock it. Cool old knife I think.

Right you are. I have 2 Paxton & Gallagher knives, a whittler and a harness jack and they are among my favorites. Both have punches.

Not sure, but whoever did it made a quality knife.

Why are these old Sears knives so well made? Love this thing. Bought it to use, deemed it a shelf queen.

Just reading along here tonight and realized there is an old Pal Blade Company (scout/camper) with a punch blade on it here in a pile I'm looking through:

The blade not opened is a cap lifter with screwdriver tip.

I think this Pritzlaff Hardware is pretty unusual for a harness jack, coke bottle stabber jack, unusual grind to the spear main. Nice size 3 3/4". very nice wood, think cocobolo, very faint etch that I can't make out. No idea who made it.
