Anybody else have one to show?c. 1907-1929 This knife manufacturer was on Factory St. in the town of Warwick, New York. The first city directory listing was in 1907, but it is believed to have been in business before that time.
Belknap Hardware contracted so many knives from Warwick, that they had little time for the manufacture of their own. Therefore, Warwick marked knives are extremely rare.

Say Miller Bro’s ,thanks for showing your Warwick equal end. Did not know of this company. I’ll,just add it to my list of other rare tang stamps to hopefully acquire. Such as Honk Falls, Naponoch,Terrier and many other elusive marks. Steve B.

And what a lovely example! Thank you Dimitri!
Re: Warwick Knife Co. New York
Nice one Dimitri!! I live fairly close to Warwick always liked their knives although they are not commonly found. It is said that they made more knives on contract for other firms than they made ones with their own name on them. I have a couple of pearl lobsters of theirs, one nice and mint and one with a piece of pearl missing. I use the nail file on the one with the missing pearl piece fairly often. Hard mark to find and there is somebody from there that goes after them. I have seen very few larger knives, mostly small ones with their mark.

I've never owned a Warwick knife. Fine knife Dimitri!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

Cool knife. Good to hear about a company off of the beaten path.

The one I use to file my nails with is close by, but I will have to dig for the mint one. Off to the Middletown, NY gun show tomorrow AM, less than an hour away, will try to remember to dig and photograph after the show. Hopefully there will be some sunlight.
Re: Warwick Knife Co. New York
Nice old jumbo jack Dimitri and always nice to see a rare stamp ... It must be a handful ... I have a Miller Bros Jumbo Jack and when I first saw your photo I thought it was the same knife - jigging is similar as is the shield but my jumbo is around 4 1/4" - still a handful but yours at 5" is a monster ...

Actually found the minty one!! Other one has initials etched on the main blade but I couldn't get it to show. No sunlight here today so photos could have been better. The smaller one has full original crocus polish, just couldn't get it with the poor light today. The one with the broken pearl was a beauty until a non-knife friend came by as I was going through a box of knives which he asked to see. He proceded to throw one back in the box which was on the floor from a sitting position and busted the pearl into a couple little pieces. Damn fool!!

Thanks Dimitri! I have or had (can't find it) another Warwick lobster mint with celluloid scales. I got the cell one and the mint pearl one in a baggie full of pocket knives at an auction. The gorgeous mint Pressbutton Invincible that Myron now has was also in the baggie along with about 15 more junkers. It was one of my better days at an auction house!!

Re: Warwick Knife Co. New York
No, I have never seen a Warwick box. I didn't get that baggie for real short money, I had to outbid Mike Lossico for it but luckily he ran out of money before I did. If he hadn't been there it would have been a lot cheaper, but I was happy anyways. Hurt some to let Myron have the Invincible, only let him have it after he pestered me for about 20 years. (LOL)
Re: Warwick Knife Co. New York
Beautiful knives Dimitri and Gene, what a great thread! Those knives have always eluded me, been on the lookout for years. I do have a shot of the factory though, as well as a letterhead. I'll post a pic of the shop now but probably have to wait till tomorrow for the letterhead, got it stowed away in the files. This picture is circa 1908:

Re: Warwick Knife Co. New York
Thanks guys! Gene, the shop was on Factory Street, which was a bit off the main drag, near the railroad tracks and the Waywayanda Creek. It's all residential now, no sign that there was ever any industry at all. Warwick's become a great town for night life though lol!
Here's a shot of that letterhead:
