Thanks FRJ, espn77 and Roger.

FRJ: That's an old style shield that Boker didn't use very much. I've seen a few of them over the years, but not a lot. Ricky & Neal's Boker book dates that shield from the late 1800's - 1938 time frame. I always have referred to them as a "tulip" shield because it reminds me of a tulip bloom.

All you guys and everyone else in this post have put up some very nice knives! ::nod::

espn77: As usual, you have posted up a group of mint knives. I particularly like your little pearl swell-center Remington. ::tu::
