Today another Imperial "deer head" pocket knife joins the zoo. I gave it a cleaning, took some pictures and posted them below.
Good crisp colors Skip! So any knives with animals are welcome here right?
Should get something for Christmas with a dog on it. "I'll be back!"

The zoo seemed a little light on horses..
Here's a PM ATLAS cuchillo de caballo - these were contract knives supplied by Cuchilleria Imperial.
VERY nice Jason! Question, did you go after this Schrade 88LH 1875-1975 Longhorn Premium Stockman?
It went for $27.10 last night. I missed it completely.

I didn't know about the auction but I do have that same knife. Schrade made two version of the Texas Longhorn - the other one is a scrim that says 'TEXAS LONGHORN' next to a steer.
Here's the second knife in a pic I just lifted from ebay.

Thanks! Here's one more recent acquisition I hadn't scanned yet. I like those Longhorns. Make me think of Texas.
Schrade LB7 with (real) scrimshaw of a Bighorn Sheep on ivory micarta. This is just as I received it. Likely tomorrow, I will be polishing off the marks on the bolsters etc.
I don't always respond to great posts but I always appreciate seeing them. Thanks for posting!
This Imperial "Longhorn Steer" pocket knife arrived at the zoo yesterday. I gave it a minor cleaning, took some pictures and here it is.

You keep rolling them up Skip - nice collection of Steer-heads! Blade Collector sure has a nice collection of Scrimshaws. I've only got one of those, a Schrade Barlow with some Racoons on it. OH

Today, this Imperial "Longhorn Steer" pocket knife joins the zoo. It is the first "Longhorn Steer" pocket knife, that I've acquired, with this handle design/style. The blades needed tending to, they received a cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are.

Today I obtained this pocket knife. Another Imperial "Longhorn Steer." A soon to be, much welcomed, new addition to my zoo. It appears to be in decent condition. The main blade has a wonda edge and will fit in nicely with my other "wonda edges." (The Last Picture) When I receive it, I will give it the once over. I will take some pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s). Click on the last picture to ENLARGE.

The herd just keeps growing & growing. Your gonna need a bigger barn soon.
How right you are Tom. I actually am out of stalls for my latest acquisitions. I need to buy more storage cases anyway, for them and some other knives.

It's a bit of a stretch for this thread but I bought this Millennium Hen & Rooster swell-centered whittler with bone handles today. My first H&R and my first whittler. I'm a bit excited to get my hands on it.
These are the sellers pictures. I'll post some more when I get it.
