In the mid 90s Schrade had a number of college team SFOs and I think they may have all been SEC - but not 100% on that.

These 4 knives should be arriving some time next week. From top to bottom they are, an Imperial "steer head", an Imperial "deer head", an Imperial fixed blade, with sheath, "elk head" and a Colonial fixed blade "elk head." When I receive them, if they need it, they will get a cleaning and I will post MY pictures in the appropriate location(s). The menagerie continues to grow. These pictures are the seller's.

Skip, I'm probably wrong but that last one looks more like a Moose head to me. Opinions??

Jerry, I was thinking the same thing because of the way the antlers look. I'll know for sure when I receive it and clean it up, if it needs it. If the Colonial turns out to be a moose, I will not be disappointed. The Imperial fixed blade looks suspicious also. Again, if they both turn out to be moose instead of elk, I'll actually be VERY happy.::tu:: :D

No question that is a Moose. An elk would have very high and wide antlers without the paddles. OH
Ps. Both of the fixed blades (the two different brands) are both an artists interpretation of a Moose.

So both fixed blade knives have depictions of Moose, correct?

Yes, both knife handles are depicting a Moose (you need a Moose Pattern with a Moose to go with them now!). OH

This one will hopefully be joining the menagerie within a week. Another Imperial "steer head" pocket knife. When I receive it, I'll give it the once over and post MY pictures in the appropriate location(s). These pictures are the seller's.

My latest acquisition for the menagerie or zoo. This "moose head" fixed blade knife, no sheath, from COLONIAL.
Please excuse the shadow on the blade in the first picture.

I bought this Imperial "moose head", fixed blade, no sheath, this morning. I should receive it within the next week. For $5 and shipping, I couldn't resist. The tang stamp is different from my other Imperial "moose head" fixed blade knife. It appears to need a good cleaning. I'll give it a thorough inspection and take appropriate action. I'll post my pictures in the proper location(s). These pictures are the seller's.

I bought this knife earlier this evening. An Ulster 55D "deer head" pocket knife, which will fit nicely into my menagerie or zoo. When I receive it, I'll clean it if necessary and I will post MY pictures in the appropriate location(s). These pictures are the seller's.

Skip, I really like your new Ulster 550. It appears to be the same knife as the Ulster 58OT Old Timer - do you think so? OH
