Today I welcome this pocket knife to the zoo. This pocket knife "brand" is part of the Imperial and Colonial, Mexico story/connection. But this specific "brand" of pocket knife does NOT make an appearance that often. The only other example of this particular pocket knife that I've seen, so far, is a picture of the one that Jason (jxr1197) has. It's a PM ATLAS, 2 blade with cap lifter/bottle opener, horses on the handles, pocket knife. It has a bail also. PM ATLAS is etched into the cap lifter/bottle opener part/tang of the blade. Although it really doesn't look it, the main color of the handles is a dark blue. It required very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

All of the ones I have come across either have a horse or a deer on them.

This afternoon, I welcome to the zoo, this beast. This is a SOLINGEN, MADE IN GERMANY, fixed blade, 4 tool, "Deer Head" knife. I have both Imperial & Colonial fixed blade knives with "Moose/Elk/Caribou Head" handles, but not with any tools. This knife has the tools on the handle. It measures 9" total length and it DOES have some weight to it. It did NOT come with a sheath. It didn't need any cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Here's a tandem hunting knife set with the original sheath, the large knife is 13 1/4" overall and the smaller knife is 8" overall.

The genuine stag handles are hand carved and the sheath is embossed with a deer head as well.
Quite a hefty set well made and sharp!

This evening, the zoo welcomes it's newest resident. It's an Imperial, 2 blade, "Deer Head" pocket knife. You don't see the "red" ones that often. It needed minimal cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
