This afternoon I'm adding this pocket knife, my fourth one of these, to my collection. It's a 1915-1920, A. KASTOR & BROS - NEW YORK, bone handles, single blade, Coca Cola pocket knife with bottle opener/cap lifter. Goins says it's a wire cutter (for the wire on a champagne cork). It measures 3 5/16" closed. The main handle side says "DRINK Coca Cola IN BOTTLES" and the other handle side says "Delicious and Refreshing." It has two tang stamps, "A KASTOR - & BROS - NEW YORK" and on the other side, "COCA COLA - BOTTLING CO." I cleaned the blade, the tool and I just wiped off the handles. I took some pictures and here it is.

This morning, my trip to the post office produced this Coca-Cola pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also becomes the latest example to be added to my collection. It is a CAMILLUS 72, three blades, two tang stamps, two blade etches, two bolster stamps, 3 5/8" closed, swelled center, a long matchstrike and blade pull, two springs, advertising, "whittler" pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp (double line) says, "CAMILLUS (over) New York (over) U.S.A." The main blade back tang stamp says "72", the pattern number. The main blade front etch says, "Chattanooga Coca-Cola" The third blade back etch says, "World's First - Coca-Cola Bottler" The left front bolster is stamped "040" The right front bolster is stamped "1992" The main handle side says "Coca-Cola" The main blade has no half stop, but it does have a good opening and closing snap. The secondary blade has a weak half stop, but it has a good opening and closing snap. The third blade has a good half stop, along with a good opening and closing snap. This pocket knife came with a box and the paperwork. I do not know if this is the box and or the paperwork that this pocket knife originally came with. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. I did NOT clean it at all. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

***** EDIT *****
I have REMOVED that dark strip on the bolster near the scale.
You can plainly see it in pictures #2 and #7, posted below.

Saw that in the 72 thread too Skip and it’s a beauty. There is a thread about knives with advertisements and if it adds value or detracts. Like stated there it depends on the brand but with Coca Cola I can guess that it would often times increase the value especially to a dual collector.

Yesterday afternoon, my visit to the post office produced this Coca-Cola pocket knife. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. It also becomes the latest example to be added to my collection. It is a CAMILLUS 712, four blades, four tang stamps, one blade stamp, one bolster etch, 3 1/2" closed, two springs, advertising, pocket knife. The main blade (wonda edge) front tang stamp (double line) says, "CAMILLUS (over) New York (over) U.S.A." The main blade (wonda edge) back tang stamp says "712", the pattern number. The third blade front tang stamp (double line) says, "CAMILLUS (over) New York (over) U.S.A." The third blade back tang stamp (double line) says "712", the pattern number. The main blade (wonda edge) front stamp says, "WORLD'S FIRST 1993 Coca-Cola BOTTLER" The right front bolster has "063" etched on it. The main handle side says "Coca-Cola" The other handle side says "CHATTANOOGA Coca-Cola" The main blade (wonda edge) has a weak half stop, but it does have a good opening and closing snap. The secondary blade has a soft half stop, but it has a good opening and closing snap. The third blade has a soft half stop, but a good opening and closing snap. The fourth blade has a soft half stop, but it has a good opening and closing snap. This pocket knife came with a box and paperwork. I don't know if this is the box and or the paperwork that this pocket knife originally came with. This pocket knife is in EXCELLENT condition. I did NOT clean it at all, just wiped it off.
