All I've found so far is that it was incorporated in 1922. Also the name is still active, likely being held by some corporation or similar business. Saw a pair of scissors by Erie Cut Co marked Fremont Ohio. Clauss Cutlery was also out of Fremont so maybe they were related, but then again there were like 25 cutlery companies in Fremont at that time so they may have been a stand alone company too.
