UTICA !!!
Re: UTICA !!!
Funny how this knife collecting works, up until last week I had no early Utica's in my collection and now I have 2, added this teardrop jack this week.
Unique profile to the spear main and a wide pull, beautiful knife with great snap, hammered pins and very nice bone.

Re: UTICA !!!
I usually don't buy celluloid knives but this unused Utica really appealed to me. Early curved tang stamp with its etch. Some corrosion but I think its from age and not off gassing.

Re: UTICA !!!
Wow she is a beauty, Utica used some get celluloid handles. My favorite etch! Good pickup
Re: UTICA !!!
Those are some very nice knives you are showing, John.
Jody, that is fine looking erasure. The handle looks like Ebony.
Here is a 3 1/2" jack that I got recently. Very strong knife with two half stops.
Thanks for looking.

Re: UTICA !!!
Here's a Utica that Mike (Galvanic) was kind enough to sell me. it's from the Utica factory board display. Stamps on both sides of all of the blades. About 1910-1912. Right after I got it I was cleaning off some shelves and found a Knife World article on Utica that had pictures of Mike's knives and some great history. I have new appreciation for vintage Uticas now. Thanks Mike!

Re: UTICA !!!
Mike, the MOP Utica is an elegant knife in awesome condition. I like how the knife is thin, but the blade stock on the main blade is thick.
