LB5 Nickel Silver Liners

Post by Jeffinn »

Did a little work today with a couple of those nickel silver liners and bolsters that I purchased last week.
It appears they’re for the Schrade LB5. I ordered up some new Schrade LB5 blades, then outfitted the handles with some black on black Micarta handles. I installed some nice domed handle pins and worked on the spring holder and lock bar. I gave it a preliminary polish on the buffing wheel to see ho it’d look.
Once the blades get here it’ll be ready to assemble. Or if I get impatient I’ll put it together with a 5ot blade which seems to fit just fine too.

The nickel silver LB5s make great looking knives, especially when customized.
